Accessibility

At RGF Staffing, we are dedicated to ensuring our website is accessible to as many users as possible, regardless of the technology they use or their abilities. We are continuously working to enhance the accessibility and usability of all RGF Staffing sites, and we strive to comply with widely recognized standards and guidelines.

Navigation

We have implemented a skippable area concept on each page and components to allow screen reader users to link to the main areas of the page. When a user presses Tab on any page, the button 'Skip to main content' appears. This is so that blind or visually impaired visitors are not required to navigate through all the menu items on each page before being able to read the main content.

Headings and menus

HTML heading tags define the structure of a document. The <h1> tag is used for main titles, while <h2> tags indicate subtitles and so on. Navigation menus are structured as HTML lists, which allows screen readers to announce the number of links at the beginning and makes it easy for users to skip the menu if they wish.

When the navigation submenu is opened using the keyboard, the user continues to loop through the submenu until it is closed (either by using the close button or the escape key).

Images

For blind or visually impaired users (or when an image file is missing), alternative text (“alt text”) is provided for all images throughout the website.

Invisible titles

Where applicable, invisible headings have been added (i.e., only visible to screen readers) to inform blind or visually impaired users about the content of a list of items. For example, an invisible heading ‘Social Media links’ is placed above the social media buttons. While most users can see this context at a glance, for blind or visually impaired users, this provides a helpful and necessary point of reference.

Where applicable, an invisible label has also been added to buttons (i.e., only visible to screen readers).

Colors

We have carefully selected font and background color combinations to provide strong contrast, ensuring that information remains clear and accessible across various color settings. If you prefer to use your own color scheme, you can easily override the site’s colors by adjusting your browser settings to suit your preferences.

Movement

We have kept the animated images to a minimum on our site to make sure that it's accessible for the user.
